Song: Everlong
everlong always goes thru my head while i am kissing my boyfriend. "breathe out so i can breathe you in, hold you in." that's my favorite line. everlong is about reaching the top, the highest point of bliss and refusing to let it go.

Up in Arms is about someone who has left another person and realising it was the wrong choice and then get them back as either a friend or them back as a lover.
"Together now i dont know how this love could end" " I was the one who left u im always comin back im up in arms again"

Song: February Stars
Another one of Dave's silent homages to Kurdt, his best fucking friend in the world. This song is a little bit about what is was like for them to watch their world expand as they built it, a little bit about how surprised he was when it happened that they "ended up on MTV" so to speak, a little about not wanting to step up to the plate once they made it, and little about his love for his friend-

Song: Everlong
I think this song is about heroin, because of what the lyrics say, for e.g. "Out of her head..."

Song: Hey, Johnny Park!
From the name of the song it's obvious he's telling us about somebody and of course dave isn't stupid enough to call the song 'hey kurt cobain'. this song lets dave bring out his emotions towards kurt 'impossible, can't let it out' dave is grieving obviously and what better way than a song to get it out of his system. 'can't turn blind eyes to blue' and the strongest part of kurts's face was his vivid blue eyes, 'now that i've got my reward, threw it away long before' this is obviously dave thinking what he could have done or should have done to stop kurt take his life, his reward is obviously the foo fighters and fame. 'everything fades with time it's true' nirvana faded, however 'it's true' might be that kurt told dave that nirvana would fade and dave didn't beleive it and now dave is correcting himself. Although Nirvana's impact on rock music is still overwhelming. i'm sure there's loads more in the song.

Song: Stacked Actors
I believe that this song contains many thinly veiled references that would seem to indicate that Dave, like many of us, has questions regarding Courtney Love's role (if any) in Kurts death.
